St George and Washington County Local Events As a real estate professional, my favorite event of the year is the Parade of Homes. Just kidding, but it is a great annual event in the area. There are farmers markets in most of the small towns and art fairs and festivals, the county fair, and much more. There is always something to do and see in this area. At Tuacahn on Saturdays there is a craft fair and an art fair on the weekends in Kayenta weather permitting. Springdale outside of Zion National Park often times has craft fairs, an Earth Day Festival, Farmers Markets, and other events such as free concerts. There are constantly marathons, bike races, charity events, balloon flights and other things going on in this area. Tuacahn has musical performances and the Dixie Center hosts everything from concerts to MMA fights. There are things like the annual Hurricane Mud Run, car shows, carnivals etc. St George and Washington County are small population areas, less than 200,000 people and so there arent lots of great events to be honest, but the beauty of living here is Las Vegas is only 2 hours aways for more concerts, events, shows, and entertainment.
