St George and Washington County General Information    Washington County in the South West corner of Utah is a remarkable place to live and visit. It is home to Zion National Park, Gunlock, Sandhollow, Snow Canyon and Quail Creek State Parks, Red Cliffs National Conservation area, Championship Golf Courses, award winning Tuacahn plays and performances, and much more. Washington County consists of the Greater St George area which to me encompasses the Bloomington, Ivins, Washington City and Hurricane areas. The county has over 140,000 residents. This area enjoys mild year around weather. The humidity is low and the winters are warm and typically snowless. When it does snow it melts in a day or so. Located just 2 hours from Las Vegas and 3.5 hours from Utah County, This area is a getaway for many people looking to retire from the City or escape the cold northern Utah winters. The beautiful red rock formations give way to alpine mountains and some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. Whether you are looking for a second home, retirement, or just moving from one home to another, the St George area has something for everyone.   St George is home to Dixie State College which is a wonderful place to study. The people in this warm area are also warm and hospitable. I love living here and would like to share this wonderful area with you. I spend my winters in the St George area and my summers in the mountains and feel so blessed to have this opportunity to share this area and lifestyle with everyone. If you have any further questions that I didn't answer here, please feel free to call me and I would be more than happy to answer your questions or mail you out a relocation packet of information, maps, coupons, and local statistics. <-<-<-GO BACK<-<-<-
